This time, Lasse Hallström's Hachi: A Dog's Tail.

Parker Wilson is a professor of music. One evening, arriving at the train station after a day at work, Parker comes across a strange surprise: an akita puppy that got lost in the post. Parker takes the puppy home, for what is supposed to be a temporary stay while the owner can be found. However, Hachi - as the dog - becomes part of the family. Parker and Hachi forge a bond that will shape and define them both in the years ahead.
