195. 2024 Overflow Reflections - with Charlie Owens
The prophetic word over our ministry in 2024 was "OVERFLOW". For the one year anniversary of our show going viral, I invited back the guest who made that happen, Charlie Owens! He is a walking bible and he's full of nuggets! This is his third appearance on I Like Birds and in this episode, we are going over the BIG moments of 2024 that will leave a kingdom impact for years to come!

Impactful Start: Kicked off the year in Ada, OK, preaching and doing comedy at House of Joy. A teen got baptized after hearing my story—how cool is that?
Prison Missions: Completed 6 prison missions this year, with 9 inmates baptized at the last event, including 2 spontaneous ones.
LIVE AUDIENCE SHOWS : Teamed up with Charlie Owens for a special taping, followed by my first live audience show with Pastor Troy Brewer and 4 more LIVE SHOWS with special guests.
Epic Collabs: Featured amazing guests like Ben Fuller, Alan Didio, Trey Tucker, Stephanie Chung, Steve Penate, Alex Burkins, Ava Trammell, and Dr. John Delony.
Growing the Writing Biz: Launched my writing podcast "I Like Words," hit 500 reviews on Fiverr, and launched my website, RippeyWrites.com.
New Adventure: Transitioned to Opendoor Church under Pastor Troy Brewer. Took a 6-week break from the podcast but returned strong after attending Armed Media Conference.
Viral Guest: Met Ava Trammell during my break; her story reached over 25 million people and changed everything.
Exciting Role: Offered a position as a producer for Opendoor Church's podcast and media team—loving the learning journey!
NEW COMEDY Special: Recorded my comedy special "Crackers in Church" in Arizona, and released it on December 21st.
Grateful for God's Guidance: This journey is about what God has done through us. Can't wait to share more!
