"From my passenger seat, I literally grab the steering wheel from my husband. I yanked the steering wheel to the right, taking the exit. He yelled, ‘Are you nuts?’ I thought I was nuts. But the Voice said, ‘Exit at the McDonald's.’ I wasn't hungry, I didn't have to go to the bathroom. But the Holy Spirit wanted me there for a reason I did not yet know."

You are about to meet Claire, who suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to force her husband off the highway toward a McDonald’s. No hunger. No bathroom emergency. Just this inner voice that wouldn’t let her pass that exit. She didn’t even understand it herself. It seemed irrational — even unsafe. But what happened next proved that this was no coincidence. This was the wind of the Holy Spirit in motion.

Remember what Jesus told Nicodemus? “The wind blows where it will… you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” That’s what we’re talking about. The kind of faith that doesn’t wait for a five-point plan. The kind of faith that just moves when the Spirit says go.

Sometimes, following God looks completely ridiculous from the outside. But from Heaven’s perspective, it’s right on course.

So, buckle up. We’re letting the wind drive.

In this week’s episode, I also talked with Michael, who once walked away from his faith. What brought him back? A lavender Virgin Mary. A vision within the sun. A long-buried sin.

It started with a spinning sun. Colors cascading. Golden raindrops dripping from the sky. On top of Apparition Hill in Medjugorje, Michael Campanelli and his friend Bill were witnessing something extraordinary. But that was only the beginning. Happy Easter! Let's go back many years to a very special Easter weekend. It was episode 104. Melody was about to meet Jesus, a man she had no belief in. For decades, she had worshiped the Earth, in a pagan belief known as Wicca. Melody believed there was no God, no heaven or hell. Then, came her dream. In the dream, she saw a man with long hair, being led by a jeering crowd. She didn’t know who he was, but something about his eyes—so full of love and understanding—pulled her in. When he looked at her, it felt like he saw everything… and still loved her. He spoke to her of his concern for her soul. That dream led her to a church on Easter Sunday, that she’d never visited before, and to a divine appointment she could never have planned, another unmistakable Touched by Heaven moment.

Like Tom, Doug saw his deceased father… in church, bathed in light. In that moment, he felt it all—closure, forgiveness, love. Doug shares his journey of growing up with a unpredictable dad, caring for him during his final months with dementia, and finally experiencing healing in that holy encounter. I asked St. Thérèse to send me red roses if she approved of my boyfriend becoming my fiancé. At the grocery store, right next to the pop I was about to buy, was a dozen red roses that someone had obviously dumped.

Hi! Trapper Jack here. We have some very cool stories of saintly intercession! This episode emphasizes that the Saints are not objects of worship, but heavenly friends who pray for us.

Elizabeth and I are still scratching our heads on how a particular ring found its way back into our kitchen and was discovered in a most impossible place. Leslie, a non-Catholic, decided to throw a prayer toward St. Anthony, in hopes of getting her dog back. She also let St. Anthony know that it was her first time, and that Trapper Jack said it was a good idea.

Meanwhile, Sarah was looking to St. Thérèse of Lisieux for her usual sign of roses, if the saint was on board with Sarah’s choice for a husband. A dozen red roses were soon found in the grocery store where red roses should never be found.

Finally, Steve recounts his personal encounter with the future St. Padre Pio, who suddenly stopped after mass to give a special blessing to the young boy.

Hi! Trapper Jack here. Renee lost her sight rapidly due to diabetes and faced the emotional and physical challenges of blindness head-on. What stands out is not just her inspiring Touched by Heaven moments but how she teaches us all to confront life’s challenges with faith and determination.

Rene describes a near-death experience where she was welcomed into a heavenly realm by her grandfather. She met her six miscarried children and saw stunning landscapes filled with peace and harmony. This experience deeply strengthened her faith, giving her the courage to embrace her blindness as part of God’s plan.

Determined to keep her independence, she immersed herself in blind training, mastering mobility, cooking, and even rock climbing. Now, she teaches others to overcome their fears. Rene’s journey is a powerful reminder that faith and perseverance can lead us through any darkness.
