I literally just walked our daughter, Carolyn, down the aisle to her wonderful new husband, Daniel. My wife, Elizabeth, and I were just reflecting on a particular Sunday morning, five years ago, while we were headed home from Sunday mass.
There was a song playing in my head, ‘For a man shall leave his mother, and a woman shall leave her home.’ It’s called The Wedding Song. When we arrived home, our daughter Carolyn was waiting for us. Carolyn said, 'You know how I've always said that I would not mention any guy’s name or bring anyone home until things were getting serious. Well, it's time to tell you about Daniel.’
In this episode, Carolyn opens the door to the heavenly connections that many children have in the first few years of their lives. By about age five, we develop amnesia to those special early memories. We then begin the process of walking away and then, back to, God and heaven. Here then are some great examples of God speaking quite loudly through kids age three and four. Enjoy the podcast!

Hi! Trapper Jack here. Have you ever pondered the gospel where Jesus has locked up the house that is headed for heaven. In this parable, the crowd arrives and says, ‘open up,’ but Jesus says, ‘I do not know you. Go away you evil doers.’
You and I assume that we are inside the house, right? Well, that crowd had the same assumption. That big crowd had apparently never figured something out. Maybe I’ve missed something.
In this episode we will see where the crowds are gathering, and where they are not. We will even see what they cheer about. We will then ask Jesus and Satan whether or not they would join in the cheering. Maybe then I will have a better picture of whether I am in or out. Enjoy the podcast.

I wasn’t sure if I believed in ghosts or not. Then, I met Maryann. For 25 consecutive Halloween mornings, Maryann Winkowski, who inspired the CBS television hit series Ghost Whisperer, would join me on the radio. We would take calls from listeners who believed they had a ghost in their house. Many did. I would push Maryanne to prove that she could see what she said that she could see. She did so with dazzling accuracy. I have never seen anyone prove the existence of ghosts better than Maryann. She turned the subject matter into a no-brainer for me and the listening audience.
I’m going back into the archives ten years for this interview with Cleveland’s best-known ghostbuster. Beyond stating the case that ghosts are real, the overwritten message is what can happen in the afterlife, when we become so irrevocably stuck to the physical things of this earth. Enjoy the podcast!

Hi! Trapper Jack here. I remember reading a much-publicized Newsweek article, almost 20 years ago, that said single women over 40 were more likely to be killed by a terrorist then to find a mate. Cheery thought, yes? Fortunately, it was nonsense, but caught on as a hapless truth of a middle-aged life.
Question… Did you pray to have God provide your spouse? Did you pray after marrying the ‘wrong’ one? Did you receive a sign that your mate was on the way. In other words, was God invited into the discussion?
Love conquers all in this podcast episode as Jennifer finally had her marriage prayers answered at age 46. Vickie waited eleven years for the guy to show up that she had seen in a vision. Gina was apparently married to the wrong man for 25 years. Miraculously, a pilgrimage Gina and her husband made to Medjugorje had Gina asking her newly converted fellow, ‘who are you and what did you do with my husband?’ These three stories would fall under the category of, ‘with God, all things are possible.’ Enjoy the podcast!

Hi! Trapper Jack here. As I think about it, it’s really a rather simple story. Rich wanted something. He prayed for it. He got it.
Did Rich pray directly to anyone of the three in the Trinity? No. The one he approached for his intercessory prayer happens to be the one known as the Saint of impossible causes.
Here, God is awakening us to a basic truth. However you approach God, He is listening. In this case, it was the communion of Saints who were asked to intercede for Rich. Some ask, "Why would you pray to dead people?" Well, first off, they are not dead. Even Jesus was seen by some of His apostles talking to ‘dead’ people, namely, Moses and Elijah.
Maybe a bigger question is, what does prayer while looking at the Saint’s bone remains, have to do with anything? In this case, Rich, was dealing with irreversible pain from a boating accident. Asking for the impossible. Shockingly, even to Rich, the impossible prayer was answered. Interesting how this story got the attention of an atheist friend of Rich. Sometimes, God is just trying to get somebody to awaken to the truth about God and prayer. Enjoy the podcast!

Hi! Trapper Jack here. Many of our podcast guests have included their own Medjugorje stories of repentance, conversion, miraculous healings, and an overall turning back to the will of God. It is even more remarkable how many of these same guests have also experienced what is known as the warning, or the illumination of conscience. The topic of the Warning leads us to another Marian shrine in Garabandal, Spain. The church has neither approved nor condemned the alleged apparitions of the early 60s. Hi! Trapper Jack here. Spoiler alert. In this podcast episode, we have three seminarians telling the exact same story of being young, strong swimmers, plunging into the ocean and being carried out to a watery grave by a strong riptide.
If this sounds a bit familiar, the Holy Spirit is going to build on this recent topic. In all three drowning seminarian stories, frantic prayers were prayed, and divinely sent angels changed the course of history. God intervened in order that these three men in formation became Fr. John, Fr. Michael, and Fr. Paul. All will swear that they were saved by God to serve Christ. But that is not the end of the story.
This is also a story where Jesus teaches us a lesson about feeling underwater in life. I've added a great message from Fr. John Ricardo about being saved from going under in all possible ways. Enjoy the podcast!

Hey there! Trapper here. Apparently, it's time to don my football referee uniform and do a prophetic thing. I'm not the prophet here, just the messenger. Last fall, I was given a dream in which I saw a referee running for a touchdown. Then, I heard the word, 'impartiality.' The key to a good ref is that he is impartial. There is to be no rooting for one side or the other. It's a case of, 'just the facts ma'am.' A few days ago, a friend sent me a video which had the latest prophecy from a woman born in Costa Rica and currently living in Argentina. She has the wounds of Christ on her body, the stigmata. There are many within the church clergy who believe that the messages she receives are true. I'm the ref, I don't know. What got my attention was while watching the YouTube video, at about six minutes into the video, I silently asked Jesus in prayer, 'Is this prophecy something I should be paying attention to?' There are so many supposed visionaries out there, and it seems to me, most are uttering false prophecies. Immediately following my prayer by about 0.5 seconds, the alleged words of Our Lady blew me away. I would rather you hear those words than read them here. You will understand. So, again, I don't know if the prophecy is correct, all I know is that this video got my attention in a special way. But her prophecy includes things like a war involving the U.S., more viruses, tsunamis, and huge earthquakes. It's the kind of stuff that's easy to verify over time.

Hi! Trapper Jack here. Happy birthday Mary! The mother of our Lord is about 2038 years old and doesn't look a day over 1873. How does she do it!? I have a very special devotion to the mother of Jesus, since all the signs indicate that she was the one to come after me. She is the one who turned me back to God some 25 years ago.
September 8th is the traditional day that we celebrate Mary's birthday. It also was the day five years ago that I was asked to give a talk about Mary, on her birthday. One of the stories that I told was what had happened just two days before her special day. My wife, Elizabeth, and I were in Eucharistic adoration at our church. Sitting before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is not supposed to be a time to take a nap, but I did. During the snooze, I had a very special dream that was delivering a message to me. As you will hear in this episode, the dream inspired me to learn more about Mary, church history, the Bible, etc. The dream told me to strip away the ignorance that I had about all the above.
Mary's message to me included the same message that she had delivered to all of us 2000 years ago at the wedding feast of Cana. 'Do whatever he tells you.'
So, here is my birthday present to our Lady. It is a reminder of where we have been, where we are now, and where we are going. Enjoy the podcast!
