Bodhi the Beach Buggy is in his first car show. He's excited to make some new friends!

The Beach Buggy Show Excerpt:

It was early morning.  Stars still twinkled in the sky, and the moon shined brightly.

 

Bodhi the Beach Buggy was awake and enjoying the peace.  Today was the day for the Beach Buggy Show, and he felt excited.  His driver had been getting the little beach buggy ready for days, and Bodhi was ready.  The moon reflected off of his sparkling blue hood.  He felt prepared for anything.  The sun peeked over the horizon, and slowly the world filled with light.

 

The beach buggy started to think about all that might happen, and began to feel impatient to get going, nervous about how he would do at the show, and hopeful about who he might meet. Bodhi took a deep dragon breath in and out and let those thoughts go.  He took another deep breath in and out  and decided to enjoy each moment of this wonderful day.  As the little beach buggy took one more deep dragon breath in and out he smiled as he watched the colorful sunrise.

 

Once the sun was up, Bodhi’s driver came outside and patted him on the hood, asking “Are you ready?” with a smile.

 

Bodhi’s engine rumbled with a “Yes!” as his driver turned the key, and away they went to the beach buggy show.
