Matthew 16:13-19

Today, we hear Jesus asking his disciples who people say He is. Their response is interesting. We are reminded to go back to our Bibles to check if what others say about Jesus is actually true. Next, we hear Jesus ask," Who do YOU say I am?" This is an extremely important question!  The children will be encouraged to ask themselves who they say Jesus is and what He is like. I emphasis the importance of seeing if this lines up w/ what the Bible says and to discuss this w/ their family this week.
