On 24 September 2022, famous international YouTubers took the football field and generated over £1 million for charities in just three hours. The fourth edition of the Sideman Charity Match, organised by popular British YouTube group, Sidemen, featured a star-studded lineup, including names like MrBeast, KSI, IShowspeed, and ChrisMD. In addition to almost 27,000 fans at the Charlton Athletic Stadium in London, millions of viewers around the world tuned in to watch internet celebrities play football live on YouTube. At its peak, the match recorded over 2 million concurrent online viewers. However, this number represents only a small percentage of people who watched at least some part of the game. The match turned out to be a highly entertaining goal-fest, with Sideman FC winning 8-7 against YouTube All-Stars. All contributions from the match will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust, M7 Education, CALM, and Rays of Sunshine.
