Known for his long association with Elvis Presley, Wink was there at the very beginning: the night in July 1954 when Memphis, TN radio station WHBQ became the first station to play an Elvis record on the radio. Wink Martindale's spoken word recording "Heavenly Child," a tribute to Elvis Presley, is available through iTunes and wherever music is sold online.
