  • #53: Financial Advisor, Tyler Davis, Stops By To Share Best Practices for Wealth Accumulation, Understanding The Role of Your Advisor, & Building Sustainable Financial Habits

    Welcome to Episode 53! In this episode, we are joined by Tyler Davis. For the last 4.5 years, Tyler has been a financial advisor, licensed in everything from investments, planning, and insurance. Throughout her career she worked with clients at all stages of life and given the state of the market, I thought it was a great opportunity to dive deep into financial best practices, navigating the market, and preparing for life post-COVID.

    During this episode, we discuss building financial habits, wealth accumulation, as well as, the following:

    • Money is often categorized similarly to religion and politics. What was the conversation around money like when growing up? What should it have been like?
    • What are some of those common misconceptions that you hear from those meeting with an advisor or a financial planner for the first time?
    • Can you unpack the industry and the types of professionals in the industry? How does an average guy or gal understand if the person they are working with is truly the right partner?
    • What kinds of conversations are you having now with the market being so volatile
    • When you are working with someone who is starting from scratch, has no idea how to even do their taxes, and is trying to be responsible with their money, what are those initial steps they can take to begin building a stronger financial foundation?

    And as always, much more!

  • #52: Friend & Partner, Robbie Martin, Stops By To Discuss How We Brought To Life The Artists For Good Collective

    In Episode 52, we are joined by Robbie Martin! Robbie is not only a very close friend of mine, but he is also my partner in our charity organization, The Artists For Good Collective.

    Six weeks ago the idea of the AGC was born and between then and now we took the idea of harnessing the creative community to do some good and were able to accomplish the following;

    • Raise Over $11,000 via donations and sales of art, jewelry, and prints (all funds raised in a 7-day window via donations, art sales, and virtual art auction)
    • All $11,000 will be donated to Feeding America to create over 3,600 meals for those in need
    • The $11,000 was raised by over 100 individual participants who donated to the cause (people had 7-days to donate)
    • Beyond cash donations, over 100 individual pieces of art were purchased by those who wanted to support the cause, as well as, the talented artists
    • We ended up on live television (Fox News) to promote the event!
    • We produced over 250 pieces of digital content in a 7-day marketing blitz which fueled the growth of an online community from zero to 1500+ people and growing
    • We successfully live-streamed a 7-hour virtual art, music, and comedy broadcast Sunday, June 28th that showcased 10 musical performances, 14 comedians, and a dozen fine artists for the entertainment of thousands of people (and growing with the content still online)

    In this exclusive, we unpack the lifecycle of the event from genesis, to development - the good, bad, and ugly - while providing commentary and additional perspective for you to enjoy and apply in your own pursuits.

  • #51: Proof in Changing Your Mindset From "What's The Worst That Could Happen" To "What If It's Better Than I Could Possibly Imagine"

    In Episode 51, I debrief how my good friend Robbie Martin and I took an idea for a virtual arts, music, and charity festival and brought it to life, raised thousands of dollars, streamed to thousands, ended up live on television on Fox 5 DC news, and built a Facebook community of over 1,000 people from all over the country... all in less than 6 weeks.

    Candidly, this was a life-changing event and a very unique experience so I stripped down the podcast setup, grabbed a mic, and recorded on my balcony.

    In this episode, I unpack the following 4 takeaways;

    1. Why it's important to look at decisions/experiences as "What if it's better than you could possibly imagine" instead of "what's the worst that could happen"
    2. The significance of one of my favorite quotes "We seldom lookup in rooms we frequent"
    3. Value of Trust

    Then there is a teaser of a 4th which is simply, the value of a walk.

    As always, I believe great podcasts create dialogues, not downloads. So if you enjoyed this or previous episodes, please rate, review, and share this podcast so together, we can create an incredible foundation.

  • #47.5: I Discuss The BLM Movement, Our Racial Injustice Problem, & Share Two Possible Solutions
    On Episode 47.5, I discuss The Black Lives Matter Movement and the racial injustice in this country. Context: I debated going silent alongside many other people during this time. However, I felt in my core that I'd regret it. This is too important. The reason I started this podcast 1.5 years ago was to help bring great conversations to the table that serve as a catalyst for progress and more importantly, action. Additionally, I did this to put myself on the record to challenge myself on being informed and able to own my opinions, regardless of the topic. In this case, I felt going silent would be irresponsible, a cop-out, and a decision I'd regret. In this episode, I share my thoughts on the current situation, as well as, two potential solutions. With that said, I know many of you have great ideas. So I'd like this to begin a dialogue, not serve as a lecture. What do you see as the other ways we can obtain the desired result(s)?Message me directly on Instagram or Twitter @JeremyFrancese
