On the TV side we discuss "Attack On Titan" (42:58) The Final Season Part 3 (Part 1). Plus, we had to react to the latest episode of "Succession" (51:09) season 4 as well as the other two episodes leading up to it. And of course, we revisit our weekly review of "The Mandalorian" (1:21:06) Season 3 episodes 5 and 6. We also took a week off because we were both in Los Angeles at "Wrestlemania 39" (1:48:00), so we take time to talk about our experience, highlights, and favorite moments from the weekend.
News of the Week (2:07:38): New Trailers, Star Wars Celebration: Three New Movies, Harry Potter Reboot, Moana Live Action, Shrek 5

Jordan and Desmund have a lot to cover this week with what's been going on. The latest and craziest film from Universal has hit theaters this past weekend with "Cocaine Bear" (1:23). "Sharper" (16:04) from A24 premiered on Apple TV+ a couple weeks ago. "We Have A Ghost" (25:40), starring David Harbour and Anthony Mackie made it's way to Netflix this past weekend. And "Nanny" (33:46), a new horror film that premiered last year is now streaming on Prime Video. We also had to take the time to discuss season 4 of the popular hit series from Netflix "You" (43:16), as well as our weekly review of "The Last of Us" (54:20). Episode 7 of the series is titled "Left Behind" which follows the games' DLC almost perfectly.
Tis the season to discuss some movies and TV!!! We have another jam packed episode for you in our season finale and last episode of the year. In this episode we talk about the long-awaited and heavily anticipated sequel to the highest grossing film of all time with James Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water" (2:07). After we talk about that film for an hour, we catch up with some movies and TV shows that fell to the wayside for us including Netflix's "Wednesday," Season 2 of HBO's "The White Lotus," the final episodes of "Atlanta," and the sophomore season of the sitcom sensation, "Abbott Elementary." Happy December Family! We have another jam packed episode for you this week with a ton of things to review. First we review the latest from James Gunn and Marvel Studios, with their second installment of Marvel Studios' Special Presentations "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special" (1:35). In the world of movies, we review and discuss the heavily anticipated "Knives Out" sequel starring Daniel Craig and a star studded cast with "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" (36:19). We also got the chance to check out one of Netflix's latest films starring Florence Pugh, "The Wonder" (48:52), "Bones and All" (58:27) starring Taylor Russell and Timothee Chalamet, the latest Disney film "Strange World" (1:07:01), and the new war fight pilot film starring Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell, "Devotion" (1:25:58). We also do a wrap up of Andor (1:34:18) Episodes 10-12 and give our final thoughts on the season. Also, one of the most talked about and heavily anticipated games came out recently and we both got the chance to play and beat "God of War Ragnarök," the sequel to the beloved and award winning 2018 game, and we had to give our thoughts on if it lived up to expectations (2:24:57).

We hope you had a good spooky season! We're coming to you this week with a couple of spooky reviews including Netflix's new stop motion animated film from Jordan Peele and Henry Selick "Wendell & Wild" (22:46) and Guillermo Del Toro's "Cabinet of Curiosities" (11:38) also on Netflix. There's also a new set of Star Wars animated shorts that dropped on Disney+ with "Tales of the Jedi" (1:20). And Jordan got the chance to check out two potential award season films with "All Quiet on the Western Front" (34:25), and "The Banshees of Inisherin" (45:09).

Since 2007, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been cast to play the DC Villain Black Adam. Now after 15 years, the film about the titular antihero has finally hit theaters. 15 years is a long wait so first we spend time doing a recap (1:29), discussing how we got to this point and how 'Black Adam' came into development. We then give our spoiler-free thoughts (23:14) of the film, and as usual get into our spoiler review and character breakdowns (39:41).

The penultimate episode of season 1 of She-Hulk has arrived on Disney+ along with the long awaited appearance of Charlie Cox as Daredevil. "Ribbit and Rip It" has a ton for us to talk about, of course Daredevil being one, but also what this penultimate episode means for Jen as a character in the MCU, how we feel the show ill end, and how it stacks against the other penultimate episodes in MCU TV shows?
We have a jam-packed episode for you this week and there's a ton to discuss. Kid Cudi released a new album and an animated rom com on Netflix titled "Entergalactic" (1:37). The Sanderson sisters are back in "Hocus Pocus 2" (24:43) which is now available on Disney+. Can this legacy sequel match up to the first? "Blonde" (39:38) is a new movie on Netflix that highlights the life of Marilyn Monroe. Based on the book of same name and starring Ana De Armas, we discuss if the 2 hour and 47 minute runtime is worth it. This has been a great year for horror and this past weekend, a new movie from Paramount "Smile" (54:59) has hit theaters seeking to become part of the fray. On the TV side of things, a new Jeffrey Dahmer series titled "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" (1:07:52) which is the longest title ever.... has released on Netflix from horror writer Ryan Murphy starring Evan Peters (Murphy's long time collaborator) and Niecey Nash. And of course we talk about this week's episode of "House of the Dragon" (1:30:51) titled "Driftmark" following an intense family reunion during Laena's funeral.

This past week of Movies and TV is one for the books and needs to be recorded. Thankfully this podcast can serve as a record. "The Woman King" (1:29), the historical epic about the Agojie warriors starring Viola Davis has hit theaters, as well as the prequel to Ti West's horror film "X" that we reviewed earlier this year, entitled "Pearl" (19:11) starring Mia Goth. Season 4 of "Atlanta" (34:07) has hit the airwaves and as the last season premieres, we talk about how we feel about the first two episodes as well as where the season might be headed. We also discuss Episode 5 of "House of the Dragon" (55:24) entitled "We Light The Way," which follows Viserys asking Corlys and Rhaenys that Rhaenyra be married to their son Laenor. Also last week the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards (1:37:22) went down, and we have talk about some notable award winners.
