  • Rihanna and Super Bowl LVII, Magic Mike's Last Dance, Harley Quinn Valentine's Day Special, The Last of Us Ep. 5 | Episode 171

    HOW BOUT THOSE CHIEFS!!! Super Bowl LVII (1:27) happened this past Sunday as the Chiefs faced off against the Eagles. Desmund who's a Chiefs fan obviously came for the game, but the majority of people definitely came for Rihanna at the Halftime Show. We also talk about a couple of important TV spots (12:25) during the Super Bowl including "The Flash", "Guardians Vol 3." "Fast X", and "Air". Jordan also got the chance to checkout "Magic Mike's Last Dance" (45:03) the newest and third film in this franchise starring Channing Tatum. And we both got to check out the "Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine's Day Special" (55:20). And as usual we review and discuss "The Last of Us" (1:01:28) Episode 5 entitled "Endured and Survive".

  • Knock at the Cabin, Pamela: A Love Story, Against the Ropes, The Last of Us Ep. 4 | Episode 170

    Happy Black History Month Family! M. Night Shyamalan has a new horror/mystery film in theaters with "Knock at the Cabin" (1:16) starring Dave Bautista. We were also invited to a special screening of "Pamela: A Love Story" (17:59) at the Paris theater, starring Pamela Anderson herself, a retelling of her career and the infamous events surrounding her life. Jordan also got the chance to check out a new Netflix show about lucha libre wrestling called "Against the Ropes" (28:32). And of course we have to spend time discussing the latest episode of "The Last of Us" (35:45) episode 4,  titled "Please Hold to My Hand".

    After dropping our comprehensive review of 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', we hosted another 2 Black Nerds Twitter Spaces to have a spoiler-filled conversation about the movie with listeners and friends of the podcast.     It's finally here! The heavily anticipated 30th feature film from Marvel Studios has arrived with "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever". It's been an emotional wait for this film but now that it has hit theaters it's time to get down to the nitty gritty and discuss any and all things surrounding this movie. We start off discussing the success and impact of the original "Black Panther" and how it came to be (2:04). We then talk about he hardship that this movie had to go through from the death of Chadwick Boseman, to the rewriting of the story, to the big question of if T'Challa should be recast, as well as the opening weekends box office numbers. As per usual we go into our nom-spoiler big picture thoughts on the film (25:57), and then make our way into the spoiler filled parts of the movie following our character by character breakdowns (43:10). This is a long one but it's been a special one for us, so we appreciate everyone for rocking with us the way you do, thank you for your ears. Wakanda Forever!
