This week, the 2 Blokes start with a review of last week's VFL & VFLW rounds as well as a sad result in the Mininera & District Football League.
After our break, we take our usual look at GFL, BFL and GDFL footy followed by chatting about stupid things said by commentators. We also acknowledge some great work being done in the community by a couple of our favourite people.
This week, the 2 Blokes kick off by talking about three very important milestones / anniversaries - well, two anyway.
We take our usual look at VFL & VFLW footy, followed by GFL, BFL and GDFL footy. This week, rather than talking about stupid things said by commentators, we discuss whatever happened to Ross Faulkner footballs and why Sherrin seems to have made a ridiculous claim to fame on their web site!
This week, the 2 Blokes kick off by talking VFL & VFLW footy. After that they move to GFL, BFL and GDFL footy, and even though two leagues didn't play last week, they still manage to fill in an hour As always, they finish by having our usual chat about silly, overused or incorrect terms used by footy commentators.
This week, the 2 Blokes are back on Thursday night after a couple of Wednesdays scattered in amongst it all.
We kick off by remembering the events that transpired on this day 23 years ago. After dissecting VFL, VFLW, GFL, BFL and GDFL footy, we have our usual chat about silly, overused or incorrect terms used by footy commentators.
This week, the 2 Blokes are doing the Wednesday night recording again.

This week, the 2 Blokes are back in Thursday night time slot.
After dissecting VFL, VFLW, GFL, BFL and GDFL footy, we have our usual chat about silly, overused or incorrect terms used by footy commentators. We even get to chatting about whether the Romans played cricket and how you pronounce Vegemite.
This week, the 2 Blokes chat one day early to allow Neil to head into hospital for some knee surgery.
In amongst the usual chat about local footy, we introduce a local singer / guitarist who may surprise you and have our usual chat about silly, overused or incorrect terms used by footy commentators. We even get to chatting about telephone numbers - how do you say yours?
The 2 Blokes talk VFL, VFLW, GFL, BFL and GDFL plus who might be coaching Carlton and North Melbourne in 2020. We'll take a look at some other silly comments being used by footy commentators and , in one case this week, one of the Geelong VFL players.
As usual, the Blokes chat about all things local footy - AFL, VFL, VFLW, GFL, BFL and GDFL - and in what is becoming something of common event, they take a look at some of the phrases that commentators use (and usually overuse) in their broadcasts. We look at where the phrase came from - if we can work it out - and wonder why they insist on using them time and time again. We might even introduce a segment we ponder big issues - this week we discuss why it is necessary to write LEFT HAND DRIVE on the back of a left hand drive car.

2 Blokes Chatting life as an informal podcast that focused mainly on VFL, VFLW & local footy in and around the Geelong region. During 2019, we produced over 30 episodes, primarily eavesdropping on the 2 Blokes as they chatted.
With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the VFL, VFLW & local footy was cancelled (yes, some VFL games have been scheduled but none involving our Geelong Cats) and so the 2 Blokes Chatting podcast went into recess.
And then the call came - local radio station engaged the 2 Blokes to host a live program from 9:00am till 11:00am every Saturday morning, starting on 28 March 2020. And so, 2 Blokes Chatting became The 2 Blokes Chatting Radio Show!
Licensing restrictions forbid us from including the very excellent music that we play on the Radio Show in podcast episodes and so, we have taken it upon ourselves to extract the guest interviews from each program and upload them as podcast episodes - one episode per radio program.
