2 Dumb For This

This week on 2 Dumb For This, Trenton unveils his giant piece of art (it may or may not be straight), we debate which Olympic sport produces the most “talented” athletes, and somehow end up discussing armpit hair, streaming greed, and whether curlers have day jobs.

We spiral into:

• The 2028 LA Olympics and pole vault fantasies
• Why every streaming service is robbing us
• The economics of the Boner Club
• Underarm hair discourse (it gets heated)
• A traumatic camping memory
• And two brand new songs: “We Met in the Middle” and the Broadway disasterpiece “Stuck Up In There”

Plus: cucumber fork. You’ll understand when you get there.

Join the Boner Club. Add the songs to your playlist. And for the love of God, don’t lose the fork.

This week on 2 Dumb For This, Jesse and Trenton accidentally prove that they are officially old.

What starts as a discussion about Trenton’s very real, definitely-not-fake library spirals into a full-blown takedown of modern video games, modern arcades, modern prices, modern cars, modern everything—and yes, Zuckerberg still somehow catches shit.

Along the way, the guys cover:

• Why Nintendo, Sega, and pinball machines were the peak of human innovation
• The tragedy of digital arcade tickets and rigged claw machines
• Parenting in the age of Minecraft (offline only, no touchers)
• Gas used to cost three dollars total
• Why arcades are just casinos for children now
• A future dream of opening an ‘80s arcade/pizza palace called Merlin’s Revenge
• Jesse’s plan to flood the internet with absolute garbage until something hits
• New songs, new shorts, new nonsense—quantity AND quality

Plus: updates on new music, the Boner Club economy, and why we should never be allowed to operate heavy machinery.

🎵 Songs featured in this episode:

• “Double Wide on Vine”
• “Miner Lovers”

In this episode of 2 Dumb For This, Jesse and Trenton tell the full, true story of Wolf Boy — a bizarre Midwest legend involving abandoned farm buildings, late-night fear, snapped trees, and a figure that should not have been there.

Along the way, the guys talk flu recovery, growing up bored in the middle of nowhere, why the ’90s were unhinged, and how all of this somehow turned into releasing new songs every week. Plus: Boner Club updates, listener growth (shoutout Singapore), and the origin story behind the song “Wolf Boy.”

New music every Friday. Early access in the Boner Club.

This week on 2 Dumb For This, Jesse records while deep in the trenches of the Super Flu —feverish, medicated, and dangerously honest—while Trenton remains frustratingly healthy.

What starts as a conversation about AI songwriting credits quickly spirals into:

• Writing hit songs while delirious
• Whether AI deserves a Nashville co-write
• The return of 2020 vibes (nobody asked for this)
• The economics of sugar-cane straws and Tylenol
• And an absolutely irresponsible number of song premieres

We debut multiple original songs, including:

• Perfect Girl
• Witch Doctor Will
• The Jerk-Off Bandit
• Why Are You Gonorrhea
• Swingers
• We Met in the Middle

Somehow, these songs are genuinely good, which honestly makes the whole thing worse.

There’s talk of yacht rock playlists, international listeners in Singapore, the Boner Club (formerly… something else), and the terrifying realization that these songs might get playlisted next to real artists.

It’s messy. It’s sick. It’s loud. And it might be the most productive episode we’ve ever done.

We’re officially back.

This is our Elvis ‘68 moment - except with worse judgment, more original songs, and absolutely no plan.

We talk about:

• Reviving the show (and why changing the name was a terrible idea)
• Flooding the internet with classic episodes
• Accidentally becoming a band again
• Writing and premiering brand-new original songs on the podcast
• Why modern tech is just subscriptions and upsells in a trench coat
• Parenting, theater kids, flu season, and emotional damage
• The creative joy of making things purely to make each other laugh

And yes… we debut multiple songs you will not hear anywhere else:

• Sex Unto Thee
• Stuck
• That Juicy Bird
• Accidental Sperm

No label. No rules. No dignity.
