Moments in pop culture that lift us up when we're feeling down. Also, is it a crazy coincidence that all this Sister Act 2 content is coming out literally the day after we recorded this? As a follow up to last week's episode, Harold, Luis and guest Fangirl Krizia go over this year's summer movies and we argue whether we think they'll be a Box Office Bomb, Break Even or a Blockbuster. With the release of both Furiosa and Garfield to less than stellar box office returns, are there any guarantees a movie will be a blockbuster these days? Also, what is up with the lack of originality in the movie industry?

2023 was not a good year for the Cinema Box office. This week, Dennis and Harold discuss the biggest box office bombs of last year. Did we see them? Did we like them? Ever have a discussion with someone about pop culture and the answers they give are the most generic and obvious ones? The Lowest Hanging Fruit? Well this is our take on what people call the best movies of all time. We here at the Dorkiest Timeline consider ourselves a little bit of the film buffs, so we decided to tackle the American Film Institute's List of the Greatest movies ever. Even though this list is almost 20 years old, we feel that AFI wouldn't be making too many changes. Were they right when they called some of these classics some of the greatest films ever? This week, we have a double dose of reviews. First, we discuss the recently released Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and what we thought of all the monkey madness. And then after that, we get into our opinions on the brand new Disney Plus/ MCU show X-Men 97. Does the show live up to the lofty prospects its predecessor established? Was Kong played by Macauly Culkin? Is there a crossover for both properties that we can exploit?  

On this episode, Dennis and Harold discuss the slew of news coming out of Cinemacon 2024 and the upcoming movie releases. It seems as if these movies were made for us, so we give our takes on how the new movies should go. GI Joe Transformer crossover? New Naked Gun movie? Join us as we talk about the showcase of the Immortals (TM WWE). The wrestling season has officially finished and we look forward to seeing how the new season goes.   Also, we discuss the NCAA Championships and Harold regrets watching a documentary.
