The Guys share their thoughts on the recent federal election and what might lay ahead for Alberta and western Canada.  We have a bit of a dust up at the local registries office because someone thinks they're more important than they are.  And the County of St Paul has Library funding on the agenda for it's next meeting May 13th!  Happy shout outs along with a Happy anniversary to a Guy and his Correspondent!

It's the $5.8 million dollar question with a $30 thousand dollar answer.  The Guys speculate why the County of St. Paul is threatening to pull $30 dollars in library funding that will essentially only affect the St Paul Municipal Public Library.  We're close to seeing a nurses strike and there's virtually no coverage on the negotiations.  It's a big weekend for Jr B hockey in St Paul and Ben gives a golden shout out to his kid! 

Trent feels Ben may have thrown him under the bus on his "other" podcast.  Lots to rant about on all levels of politics and a couple of local measles cases.  Huge shout outs to some local minor hockey teams and more community events piling up for April!

We have a Prime Minister we didn't elect!  Ben and Trent give their 2 cents on that.  A UCP MLA mentioned in the last podcast has paid the price for looking after his constituents.  Are Scott is doing okay lately but could still do better.  And a reminder, it's a municipal election year and people need to start thinking ahead.  It's the kinder, gentler rant for now!

The verdict is in!  Update from last rant, a hefty suspension for a hockey player that got into an altercation with refs at a U18 game in St Paul last month.  An MLA named Scott is taking a stand against his own political party and the guys are impressed.  Health care, and a Town of St Paul Public meeting recap.  Community events, happy shout outs and Ben breaks down why running a marathon down in Houston Texas was very important.

The Guys go off .... side on this one!  Ben might even be served up a Match penalty for how fired up he got.  It's all about the U18 Cold Lake player that struck a linesman during a recent game in St Paul.  What led up to it, what social media is saying about it, and the guys give recommendations on how a situation like this could be avoided.   

Ben's back from Mexico and the boys are looking forward to municipal elections!  What they think may be focal points for campaigning over the next year.  Quieter on the rant front but lots of community evens coming up and love for people in our community including a new podcast that Ben is convinced he inspired!

A brief comment on the Presidential inauguration.  Then of course a Royal Tea story time that's caused a lot of discussion in our community. Ben and Trent weigh in with their thoughts and opinions.  Expect the unexpected as they even give a happy shout out this time to MLA Scott Cyr who's made some big announcements that will be bringing some very positive improvements locally to health care.   Proving we can all be flexible with our opinions and point of view!

New year, new rant!  Trent had an unexpected trip to the hospital and got some first hand insight as to how stressed and under supported our front line professionals are.  Be warned he is fired up and unleashes his most heated tirade ever with a certain photogenic MLA clear in his verbal crosshairs!  But, he doesn't forget to praise how great the staff was.  Of course we weigh in on what's happening federally and throw some local events in the mix.
