Time to discuss the thrilling and sweet conclusion in Legends and Lattes Episode 5. The book ends on a positive note. They do live happily ever after (spoiler alert). In getting there, I discuss how we might be able to help bend the arc of justice back in our favor. I also give my thoughts […]

Friendship is Magic. If you asked me to summarize Project Hail Mary Episode 2 in one phrase, that is it. Grace and Rocky learn about each other, build a partnership in spite of their differences, and end up solving the problem of Astrophage. Now, because there are 11 chapters left in the book, they again […]

I’m a bit sick, so I didn’t know if I would get to Frankenstein Episode 2. But, I persevered and here it is! This secton of the book blew me away with a huge surprise that I never expected. As a consequence, is Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein the most faithful adaptation? I don’t know but … Continue reading Frankenstein Episode 2: Noob’s Book Club →

Well, after a month and a half, I got a chance to rest and recharge in Europe, which I might consider my home away from home now. I can’t explain it, but I felt so much better over there. This time, we recorded at my house. 3 cats, a dog, and 3 kids plus a pellet stove means there’s a lot more ambient noise. But, it’s all brought […]

After the audio issue in the last episode, we decided to get together and record in person this time. Other than the gain on the microphone being a bit low while recording (easily remedied), everything came out much better. Enjoy 2 Guys Get Spooky. First, we talk about childhood trauma related to horror movies. Then, […]

Noob and Blond discuss the new entries in the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat series. Join us next month for Spooktober!

I looked back over the time/date stamp from Episode 21. I knew we took an unintended hiatus, but I never realized how long we took. Sorry about that. I mentioned in my most recent article that we have a tendency to go dark from time to time. But, I promise not to lose my focus […]
