President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the first African and first female boss of the WTO, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

The president said that while the country supported her campaign for the WTO, it was an appointment she thoroughly deserved based on her work and experience over the years.

The president made the comment when dr Okonjo-Iweala paid him a visit in Abuja as part of her thank-you tour to the country.
