It’s women’s history month! This tale features a feisty female magistrate in Calabria who thought outside the box and found the one weak spot no man had ever even thought of. Mafia Mammas.

But it’s mostly about Lea Garofalo who thought she could leave the ‘Ndrangheta behind. Spoiler: The Mafia doesn’t do breakups.

In this episode, we recount Lea’s harrowing story—from growing up in a world where silence was survival to risking everything to escape. But it’s her daughter, Denise, who delivers the final blow, proving that sometimes the strongest mafia men crumble at the hands of the women they underestimated. It’s a tale of courage, betrayal, and resilience—with our usual dose of dark humor, of course.

Michelle takes on the legendary fairy folk of Ireland. Revealing fascinating details and theories about their origins and the many types. We discuss modern physics in relation to the “fairy world” and we’ve got some modern tales- some heartwarming and some tragic.

Caroline gives us some compelling info and wants to hear what we think - did dragons really exist? Or are they purely mythical?

Reacting to some YouTube videos (accounts linked below) particularly Roger Spurr with Mudfossil University, she weaves her tale. We’d REALLY like to hear your thoughts on it and she really recommends the videos as must see TV.

As always we get off on other side roads of discussion - gunpowder, hill figures, Paul Walker - so good luck keeping up with our crazy discussion!

Let us know in the comments what you think - did dragons exist ? Yay or Nay?

*again - had some technical issue toward the end and you can only hear Michelle signing off and video was cut short but we started talking about aliens and it wasn’t relevant anyway LOL.
