One of my favourite things about doing this podcast with Julie has always been our relationship and how we navigate it. Julie had this brave idea to share a recent bump in the road of our friendship, one that admittedly almost tore us apart. However, we really do try to live the 12 steps in ALL OUR AFFAIRS, we don't take that phrase lightly.
In this podcast Julie and Lisa share some wisdom from author Mark Manson. Mark Manson wrote "The subtle art of not giving a fuck", definately something people in recovery could benefit reading. 6 Toxic relationship habits worth breaking. Do you recognize any of these in your relationships, past or present? How have your relationships improved in sobriety?
Have you ever taken something small and justified it as ok? Like a dozen sugar packets at starbucks because "hey they charge me 5$ for a coffee I'm entitled to take extra sugar packets to stock my cupboard!" Anyway you slice it, taking something that isn't yours is stealing. Have your morals changed for the better since getting sober?

Facts About Anonymity
It is the A.A. member’s responsibility, and not that of the media, to maintain our cherished Tradition of anonymity.
A.A. members may disclose their identity and speak as recovered alcoholics, giving radio, TV and online interviews, without violating the Traditions — so long as their A.A. membership is not revealed.
A.A. members may speak publicly as A.A. members only if their full names or faces are not revealed. They speak as individual members, but not for A.A. as a whole.
