Having grew up in England, at a young age Caroline had quickly discovered her passion for organic chemistry hence pursued a PhD in this field at Imperial College London, followed by a career within research and drug development within various large pharmaceutical companies such as Merck and Bristol-Myers Squibb. With over 20 years successful experience in the field, she is now the CEO of Glympse Bio where she and her team are using their knowledge to help improve disease diagnosis, monitoring and treatment via the use of non-invasive technology.
On this episode she discusses why her location of Cambridge, Massachusetts is such a major hub for Biotech, how she grew her company during the global pandemic and still managed to secure series B funding during the height of it, her advice for students and those looking to start a business in this sector and her love for cooking different types of cuisine.
