Kayla Hamilton was an innocent girl in every way. 

She had high functioning autism, which made her overly trusting. Other than that she was a normal, energetic, loving 20 yr old just starting out her life. 

Her and her boyfriend had just moved to Aberdeen, Maryland when she was raped, robbed and murdered by another man living in the trailer they were renting. Aberdeen PD described the crime scene as horrific, likely due to Kayla's body being posed after she was dead, the fact she was strangled with a phone cord, and savagely raped. 

Who was her killer? A 17 yr old MS-13 gang member who had recently crossed our southern border illegally but because he was an unaccompanied minor he was released and sent to live with a relative in Maryland but shortly after arriving had moved into the trailer with Kayla. 

This crime was not only tragic, but to make things worse it was also totally avoidable. He should not have even been here, let alone set free to prey on an innocent citizen.
