Is the health care system really supporting the needs of trans and gender diverse children and young people?

The South Australian health care system has been identified as a first of port call for families with a child who is gender questioning. The Commissioner for Children and Young People’s ‘First Port of Call’ report states the experience for families seeking out help is “hit and miss”. It’s time for a health check, to see how well health care services are working for young people.
