io.IWE (If Only It Were Easy)
a track from ROADRUNNER
I made io.iwe in the moment where everything finally buckled. The point where you’ve tried every fix, every reset, every path forward, and nothing responds anymore. It’s the sound of emotional code crashing, a human operating system hitting its limit. That numb, exhausted space where giving up feels almost easier than pushing through.
In the world of ROADRUNNER, this is the internal shutdown sequence. The quiet collapse before the sprint. The moment where the whole self flickers, freezes, and hangs in that blank screen between who you were and whoever you’re supposed to become. It’s not dramatic. But it’s defeated and honest.
It’s meant to feel like being trapped inside your own circuitry, hearing the hum of a machine that won’t boot, sitting in the static of uncertainty with no guarantee of a restart.
(from the album ROADRUNNER, a spiritual pop experimental collection about ego death, emotional reckoning, and the long sprint toward self-acceptance.)
