THE UNSILENCING is a microcosmic embodiment of this phenomenon. It is not simply about these marvelous, incredibly delightful and deeply sage voices telling tales of the past, though this forms the heart of the series. But this THE UNSILENCING–it is also about the adventure of rescuing these stories, these portraits of a not-too-distant past which seems worlds apart from our own. It is engaged in an implicitly active interrogation of the current moment the entire time.
