On episode 21 of Getting To Grow, I sat down with Jacopo Cordero Di Vonzo - Founder of Remeo Gelato

Remeo was founded in 2014 when Jacopo and Filippo were heading to a dinner party on Portobello Road. Like any authentic Italian, they wanted to bring some top-quality Gelato as a gift because a great Gelato makes your taste buds happy, uplifts your mood and never makes your stomach cry! 

Easy enough, they thought…

Unfortunately, their mission was a little more complicated than they initially envisioned. Jacopo and Filippo couldn’t find authentic Italian Gelato in the gelaterias, let alone on the shelves of any good supermarkets. At that moment, the idea was born. They decided to create a Gelato brand that could reflect the experience of today’s finest Italian Gelato and the pleasure that comes with it, without any artificial additives, solely 100% natural ingredients. Thereupon, the name of this beautiful creation was decided; Remeo.

I spoke to Jacapo about how his passion for Remeo fuelled his desire to bring something truly unique to market in the infamous face cream pot!
