Tip: A company’s culture is determined by its people. If words on a page don’t reflect how people act and behave when no-one is watching, then the words don’t mean anything. Adding people to the team changes the culture. In addition, people grow, and it’s healthy to reflect how the culture is changing over time. As an example, recently Remitly added Joyful to its cultural values. This has been a great addition to formally recognize something that is very important to creating an atmosphere that celebrates the honor we have to serve our customers.
