Dragon creates and sends invitation to forest animals for a party

An Invitation Show Excerpt:

A cool breeze drifted into the cozy cave and the dragon curled a little tighter, wishing to stay warm and enjoy its dream a little longer.  The breeze tickled the dragon’s nose and the dragon giggled.  Awake now, the the dragon stretched and sighed.  It was time to get on with the day.  The dragon smiled, knowing that it was time to make invitations for the thankful party.

 

Despite initially feeling reluctant to get out of bed, the dragon now popped up eagerly and headed further into the cave beyond the reach of the cool breeze.  The dragon took a deep breath in and out and lit the logs laying in the fireplace.  A warm glow filled the cave, the dragon rubbed its paws together, ready to create the invitations.

 

Next to the fireplace there was a stack of leaves flattened under a large stone. The dragon moved the stone and picked up a large red maple leaf.  Admiring it in the light from the fire, the dragon decided that the leaves would be just right for invitations.

 

Now the dragon just needed something to write with. The dragon looked around and discovered a stick blackened by fire. The dragon picked up the charred stick and began to write, “You’re Invited to the Dragon’s Thankful Party” on a leaf.  Today’s Meditation: Feel your muscles relax as you check in with your body from head to toe.
