The Sister Summit is a gathering of all female mountain guides, filmers, photographers, editors, skiers and snowboarders to foster female empowerment in the snow sports industry. Co-founded by our guests Hedvig Wessel and Fanny Avril, alongside Leanne Pelosi and Lexi Dupont, the inaugural event is the start of something which has been needed for a long time. Inspired by, "Formation", an event within the mountain bike industry, the Sister Summit is a place for women in the snow sports to collaborate and learn. With elements of business and health as the focus, with a huge dose riding included, Sister Summit it far more of an event. It's a movement. Hedvig and Fanny explain exactly how it came together, the months of planning needed to achieve the successful implementation of this amazing new force in adventure sports.
