Lacey Fletcher was a 36 year old woman who struggled with some medical conditions. These same medical conditions are the thing that her parents, Clay and Sheila Fletcher point at to excuse their behavior of leaving their only child on a couch for more than 12 years to rot in her own bodily fluids. Lacey was a typical child and teen but as she progressed into her teenage years her Autism and supposed Asperger's had gotten worse, and Lacey became more of a recluse. Lacey eventually stopped leaving not only the house in general, but also the couch that she inevitability called home for over a decade. When the 911 call was finally made by Lacey's mom, the responding officers couldn't have been prepared to walk into a house where a partially naked women was laying with her body melted and fused into the couch cushions. This is an ongoing case and I will provide updates as I follow the case.
