今回（こんかい）は３月に行った（いった）北海道（ほっかいどう）の地名（ちめい）から、アイヌの言葉（ことば）を少し（すこし）勉強（べんきょう）しました。私たちの使う（つかう）言葉（ことば）とは違って（ちがって）、興味（きょうみ）深（ふか）かったです。

We talked about the language of Ainu, the first settlers of Hokkaido. Hokkaido's city and town names are quite different from main land's ones. It was interesting to learn about the meaning of town name!
