Holly Cohen is the president and CEO of of Tamim Academy, a national school network and movement dedicated to transforming Jewish elementary education in North America. Holly brings the strength and experience of her 10 year tenure as the executive director of the Kohelet Foundation and her varied career in law to her role at Tamim. At the Foundation, Holly developed and implemented initiatives and programs aimed at challenging the status quo and enhancing the quality of education within the Jewish day school field. She led the team that founded the Kohelet Yeshiva Lab School and has extensive experience working with partner funders and structuring grants for maximum impact. A thought leader in the field of Jewish education, Holly has delivered talks and made presentations at various convenings and conferences (Prizmah, JEIC, National Jewish Retreat). She believes it is possible for Tamim to revolutionize the way Jewish children learn by building high quality and authentically Jewish schools in partnership with Chabad Houses across the country. Holly holds a B.A from New York University and received her law degree at Temple University School of Law. She and her husband reside in Merion Station, Pennsylvania where they love spending time with their kids and grandkids.

The host Rabbi Yerachmiel Garfield Ed.D. is the Head of School of the rapidly growing Yeshiva Torat Emet in Houston Texas. He has previously served as a mesivta rebbe, assistant menahel, school counselor and adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he has written on chinuch topics for national publications, educational journals, and has presented multiple workshops. He is the founding director of the Yeshiva Leadership Group which provides networking and growth opportunities to Yeshiva school leadership.
