Topic: How are teacher training programs being re-designed to meet the needs of K-12 learners and pre-service teachers: or are we teaching a 20-yr old syllabus?

Description: This PETE Collaborative session will discuss potential re-designs of PETE courses to meet the needs of both K-12 students as well as pre-service teachers. Topics of re-design will include Meaningful Physical Education, embedding informal games and sports, as well as outdoor education

The PETE collaborative is held the second Thursday of each month and is a gathering of PETE professionals (grad students and faculty) who discuss issues in PETE.
