We have a conversation with Sue Aumiller, an Ohio woman who felt compelled to act when her son, and then her husband, were diagnosed with FSH muscular dystrophy. Barely a year later, she is director of the FSHD Society’s Columbus chapter, has a wildly successful Walk & Roll to Cure FSHD under her belt, and is contributing articles to the FSHD Advocate.
