• Filling up me - “Many women that I work with think that in order to prioritize themselves, they need more time. Sometimes that’s true, and there are ways to fill ourselves up that don’t require extra time and still make you feel good, even if it’s as simple as wearing a special piece of jewelry.”
• Filling up on purpose  - “This is about coming back to the reason why you’re doing what you’re doing. So when I apply that to my to-do list, for instance- every day I look at the three things that matter most (everything else is a bonus), and those three things have to be connected to either my core values or my deep sense of purpose and mission. If they're not, then they're not on that top three.”

Here’s how Elena likes to spend her 25th Hour:

• In connection - “When I’m able to live purposefully and have that 25th hour, it’s spent in connection. That might mean snuggling with my dog and my husband and my daughter, or it might mean that I’m in my garden, connecting with my plants. Connecting to nature and that sense of being together is what fills me up and propels me to all the things.”

• Time blocking - “I break my weekly schedule down by day and list it out really specifically, whether it’s working on a client case or managing my portfolio. Then I try to make sure I’m working within the confines of that time.”
• Plan the week - “I set up my calendar and time blocks a week in advance, but it’s still important to be flexible. Sometimes a client will book time on my calendar during a slot I had blocked for something else, and the client takes priority.”   
• Tracking time - “I use a software called Clockify, so I’m able to break things down into various projects, tag which families I’m working with, and pinpoint where I’m spending my time. It’s been a monumental shift from a sanity and a business standpoint to have that kind of structure.”

Here’s how Paul likes to spend his 25th Hour:

• Date night with his wife - “I would take that hour and go on a date with Theresa. When you and your spouse or partner are on the same page and get to spend that time together, it just creates less stress, and less stress is one of the biggest keys to life.”

• Grace that not everything will get done - “I think the biggest thing is that I've given myself grace that, some days, I'm just going to get the end of the day, and that list is still going to be there.”
• Paper Planner - “I have different planners and different sections within each one - and they all serve different purposes. So I know where to focus my time based on planner and priority and type of task.”
• White space for emergencies - “I make sure that there’s space in my calendar so I’m not putting everything on top of each other and checking emails from 8am-8pm. I make sure there’s space for emergencies.”
• Delegating - “I learned through delegating to my VP of business operations that it doesn’t take me as long as I think it does to pass along tasks. I was worried about overburdening them because that’s how mistakes happen, but it turns out they have the bandwidth to do it and they like the new responsibilities.”  

Here’s how Diana likes to spend her 25th Hour:

• Opportunity to choose to be creative - “I think the most important thing is that having that space allows me the opportunity to choose - but I have been doing a lot more creative things. It allows me to use a side of my brain that I don’t get to use every day because accounting is definitely not creative. So that extra hour has given me more space to create.”
