David Gerson is no stranger to being a bit outside the mainstream. His high school yearbook quote was “it’s better to stand alone for the right reasons, than be together for the wrong.” Whether it was student government or as a team captain and president of his university Rugby team in college, he wants to stand for what is right, not necessarily what is popular. ⁣

David has been a soccer referee for the past 7 years based in Atlanta, GA. He enjoys the physical and mental challenges that being an official presents on a daily and weekly basis. It is a never ending journey of learning and fitness. ⁣

Most recently, he has created a brand called Refs Need Love Too that is devoted to education, community and inspiration for referees in all sports worldwide.⁣
