Born in Nazi Germany, Fred and his family are trapped in the Russian zone when the war ends, while Dad is in the West zone. Drab life with not future, atheism surround him. Mother leads escape across border to meet Fred’s father. Restless Fred goes to Canada at nineteen, works but has no peace in his heart. Searches philosophies and nature to no end. Hears street preacher in Canada, convicted by Bible verses, goes to gospel meetings. Struggles but prays for salvation. Now an evangelist in Canada.
