My own story is best described as one of respectful defiance. I was the child with brittle bones who refused to listen when my parents advised me not to play contact sports. At age 31 I was told that only an idiot would quit one of the highest paid sales jobs in the country. I quit.

And the Naysayers laughed when I moved to a tiny fishing village in Nova Scotia, Canada and started an educational software company.

They stopped laughing when my sales topped $10 million.

Thirty years later I still live in that fishing village. I’m the “come from away” guy who married a local girl, creates businesses that no one understands, loves dogs, and always seems to be travelling to Europe.

I’m the Executive Producer and host of the Screw the Naysayers Podcast, and advice and mentor experienced leaders on how to harness the power of their knowledge and experience to create impact, income, and independence.
