Losing a parent was the most devastating and profound thing to happen to me. The grief hits me in huge waves and it comes at the most unexpected times. I feel like I can't really give people an honest answer when they ask me how I'm doing. Somehow it's impossible to share my inner world as an answer to that question. It's been 8 months since my mom has passed to the other side, and I wanted to share my experience. In hopes that you can relate. And for those who have not yet had the experience of losing a loved one, this might give you some insight and understanding into what it's truly like. Much love from my side of the screen!
