Today we continue with Part 2 of our conversation with Caitlin Cogan Doemner. 

Last week Caitlin and I become so engrossed discussing her upcoming book The Ecstatic Way, that we had to close the show without chatting about the subject I really wanted to talk about: The Dance of Masculine and Feminine Energies. 

In today’s show we discuss important lessons about one aspect of our deepest existential nature: that is, inside of each of us exists a binary truth that we all possess masculine and feminine energies.

It’s not unlike the ancient Chinese philosophy of the yin and the yang, which is closely related to masculine and feminine energies. I found this definition which I think will be helpful: 

Yin and yang is a concept originated in ancient Chinese philosophy that describes how obviously opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world.

In today’s conversation Caitlin and I talk about the idea of “energies” that drive our actions, our beliefs, and the ways by which we understand our own personal world.
