Gerald goes forward at twelve but leaves God behind at sixteen when he falls in love with Geraldine. Doesn’t go to church for the next 20 years. Goes to Europe to fight in World War II as an electrician, repairing fighters. Meets up with his brother there. Comes home and marries Geraldine but goes from job to job. Rejoins the army to get an education, serves in Korea. Working for IBM, he steals a few parts, has heart problems and is hospitalized. There he discovers part of a Bible verse and rededicates his life to the Lord. Has had a prison ministry for many years.
