In this episode, Xavier Bonilla has a dialogue with Robert Jay Lifton about resilience, catastrophe, and survival. Robert Jay Lifton is a psychiatrist and pioneer of psychohistory. He has been a professor at the Washington School of Psychiatry, Yale University, Harvard University, the City University of New York, and Columbia University. Together with Erik Erikson, he convened the Wellfleet Psychohistory Group in 1966. He is the author of numerous books including the most recent, Surviving our Catastrophes: Resilience and Renewal from Hiroshima to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
