Susan goes forward at five and is baptized but doesn’t remember and grows up doubting her salvation although her father is a pastor. She quietly rebels, lying to her parents and sneaking out to movies. She goes to Bible college but her true nature lurks near the surface. She cheats once in college. She marries Larry who becomes a pastor. Home-schooling their four children, her angry outbursts increase and she fears death. She confides in a prayer partner who gives her a book, and as Susan studies the Bible, she realizes she is a sinner and repents.
