Hello and welcome to episode 7 of 2DTC! This week the boys sit down and discuss sports anime! Join Tim, Nick and Travis as they converse about the world of sports and why a viewer would be interested in reading or watching a series, asking if it is possible for someone to be inspired to get into the very sport they are reading / watching, talking about why shows like Ace of Diamond and Hajime No Ippo are well received as well as comparing the differences between them and their real life counterparts, talking a little about some of the more appreciated retro series such as Slam Dunk and Major. They even discuss real life sporting events such as Koshien and some references to the MLB. It's a long episode so grab some snacks and cold one. They may not cover all of them but they try their best!
Welcome to episode 6 of 2DTC & happy Goku Day! Join in on this episode as Tim, Nick and Travis try to explain what constitutes as an edgy anime and why people may enjoy them, as well as talking about Tower of God and pondering whether or not streaming sites for manga / manhwa will sky rocket in the coming years. To top it off, we also round out the episode on our overall thoughts about "Corpse Of A Star; A Precious Child" or "Narutaru" or "Shadow Star" depending on who you ask.
Disclaimer: Major spoilers for FF7 Remake (Begins at 6:00 and ends at 25:45 (There was a flub on the timing for the audio disclaimer at the beginning so ignore that)). Also to preserve some of the sound quality of the original recordings, the original cut was split into segments and then uploaded to anchor due to the 250 MB file size limit. While for the most part it preserves the sound quality, there are times where it will sound like a pause before resuming. These transitions will appear every 45 minutes (Honestly it only happens two times in the entire episode, but this is more just a heads up).
Be safe and don't forget to wash your hands and practice social distancing during these uncertain times
Welcome to 2DTC Episode 5! In this episode, we revisit the spring anime season with some updates. Most of them not very good, and also revolving around the current pandemic. However it hasn't left us devoid of every show out there, and it doesn't mean there are no shows to talk about. We cover most of the Spring anime season list so far and cover topics like how unnecessarily good Princess Connect! Re:Dive looks, how unnecessarily bad Tamayomi still looks, as well as everything in between. Other anime mentioned are Ascension Of A Bookworm, Listeners, Digimon, Appare-Ranman, Isekai, Kakushigoto, Sing Yesterday For Me and more!
Also Nick and Tim gush for a little about FF7 Remake and Tim spaces out like a dingus at some point.
In this episode of 2D Trash Cast, listen in as Tim, Nick and Travis speak upon the shows they have aired as the Spring anime season kicks off. Moments include discussing what position Sasuke would be as a baseball player, how awesome the new Digimon reboot looks and how bad the Tamayomi series might become. Also tune in as the Trash Cast gush over video games such as the recently released Persona 5 Royal and Final Fantasy 7 Remake (spoilers). Some shows mentioned include: One Piece, Love Is War, Ace Of Diamond, Tamayomi, Listeners, Millionaire Detective, Digimon 2020, Gleipnir, Kingdom Season 3, Food Wars Season 5 and more.
Hello and welcome back to 2D Trashcast. In episode 3 join us as we discuss certain topics like summarizing how bad Fighting Beauty Wulong is, recapping the Winter seasonal anime, and going over some of the series that we will keep our eye on as the Spring season approaches. And while this is all happening, listen some more as we have total lapses in memory! Like Tim forgetting that he hit the record button until twenty minutes into the podcast.
There are plenty of shows/series that get covered this episode such as: Fighting Beauty Wulong, Eizouken, Tower of God, Tamayomi, Major, Food Wars, A bunch of manhwa, Tiny Evil and many more!
This episode is sponsored by washing your hands. Wash them.
Welcome back to the second episode of 2D Trash Cast! Somehow we had it in our hearts to churn out a second episode.
Listen in as Travis Nick and Tim talk about a myriad of different topics, like Coronavirus ramping up cancel culture to new heights, the Digimon reboot, the second Hero Academia movie and current airing anime arcs, Tim struggling to convey his love for Paranoia Agent and more!
