Identify some good thing that you can offer up in sacrifice for a week, like a mini lent. When you crave it, set your eyes towards Heaven, where the Father will give you good things beyond what you could ever imagine.

Ask the Lord to reveal to you where you're maybe not trusting enough in His Providence to give us the strength to reach out to those we have become estranged with so as to extend that "olive branch" of forgiveness, peace and friendship.

Our priests really need our prayers! Always! This week, pick a priest that you know and love and pray for him every day that he may grow in holiness and better serve the flock as a good shepherd. Also take some time to pray for our Bishop, our Chief Shepherd, and his priests that help him, and an increase in vocations for our beloved Diocese of Arlington.

Take stock this week and ask the Holy Spirit what is holding me back from being an effective missionary disciple and to show you what baggage you might be carrying with you that you do not need to.
