2nd Take Movies episodes

  • 109 - Hot Rod

Preston realized watching this for the first time at age 34 it was kind of dumb. There's still stuff to laugh at but the movie is mostly nonsense. Jake enjoyed it way more. As usual there were tangents which makes for a shorter episode sometimes.

  • 108 - Cowboys & Aliens

The dumbest name for the most mediocre movie. Also a really great cast some of whom probably didn't want to be there.

  • 107 - Men In Black International

This movie is so boring. The talent of Chris Hemsworth and Tess Thompson couldn't save this movie. It probably killed the franchise for the the future.

This is a return to form. Josh Brolin does the best Tommy Lee Jones impression. A good time travel story as well.

  • 105 - Men In Black II

What happened? The entire creative team came back for this movie and what they made was completely mediocre. The one saving grace is its really short.

  • 104 - Men In Black

It's a buddy cop movie with aliens. Probably one of the best movies we've talked about for a while.

  • 103 - Wild Wild West

In this episode we find out that Jake hasn't seen Predator or Silence of the Lambs. This movie is so bad we talk about anything else but it. Mostly future marvel casting.

  • 102 - Rogue One A Star Wars Story

A very well made movie that has a few character issues. We have some alternate pitches for this movie that'll never happen.

  • 101 - Solo A Star Wars Story

The first Star Wars movie without any Jedi or Sith. A movie that is pretty good and could have been great. We have alternate pitches for the movie and opinions on other things.

  • 100 - Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

100 episodes, wow. This one is probably the worst Star Wars movie ever made.
