  • SE05 EP03: Core Focus Areas in Media Buying for Direct-to-Consumer Commerce

On today's episode, Kunle talks about five areas of focus direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands should base their media buying activities on.

Regardless of the paid media platform, these principles will help form your overarching strategy so that you apply tactics.

Here is a summary of the five points discussed:

    1. Winners of the game drive high reach and high frequency
    2. Media buying is a hunt - you need to dial-in on sub-audiences
    3. Is your on-site funnel leaking and costing you cash?
    4. What are your micro-conversions?
    5. For established brands - don’t stagnate, innovate - dial in on product improvements

  • SE4 EP59: What I have learnt in 2019

    Neuroplasticity

Procrastination awareness I am not perfect but have been more aware of procrastination I practice small habits such as brushing my teeth immediate I get out of bed and then jumping into a cold shower

Happiness is not a destination It is a state of mind. Do not compromise your happiness for anyone. Radiate happiness to seed and grow happiness

Find shortcuts but not silver bullets Yes strive to be lazy but finding and using shortcuts. Apps, strategies, automation and outsourcing. Keep it white-hat • grey hat at an extreme. But do not believe or be sold silver bullet solutions.

Create backup systems for members of staff I had a fear of losing a member of staff. He eventually left at the most critical point in time

Some business relationships go way beyond price. The transition from transactional to relationships

    Taking 100% ownership
