of course we review all the movies we saw this week, which were the newest comic book blockbuster finally making its way to UK VOD for the pricely sum of £15.99 'Wonder Woman 1984', we discuss the education value of 'The History Of Swear Words with Nicholas Cage', some Aussie coming of age/family drama in 'Babyteeth' and Eva Green fronted family drama 'Proxima'.

The first review show of the year that will go down as 2021.

We start with Sky Comedy series 'Moonbase 8' another attempt at the tricky sci-fi/comedy mix, then we turn to Netflix for more traditional sci-fi with George Clooney directed/starring 'The Midnight Sky', and we finish with the final film of Chadwick Bosemans unfortunately all too short career in 'Ma Raineys Black Bottom'.

The first podcast of 2021 we look back at the sh*tstorm that was 2020. We pass judgement on what was the most testing of years for cinema and the movie industry, but despite all this the industry as still managed to produce some absolute classics.

On this weeks pod we look over the Worldwide box office top ten, and then delve into the always coveted Three Beers And A Movie top award, some surprises in our selection but a winner we allll agreed upon.

Up first this week on Apple Plus, Irish animation 'Wolfwalkers', the final part of Steve McQueen's 'Small Axe' anthology with 'Education', unique documentary available on Netflix 'Dick Johnson Is Dead' and we finish with Italian folk legend also on Netlfix 'Rose Island'

The end of the 2020 approaches and we continue as we have done for most of the year we continue with all things streaming.

This week we will discuss if we should apply for the Cammell Laird managers job, and jump to the defence of Tom Cruise. Then the movie reviews begin, starting with a twist on the serial killer genre in 'Freaky', get all festive with Disney + flick 'Noelle' and continue Steve McQueen's 'Small Axe' anthology with 'Alex Wheaton'
