After last weeks dalliance with cinema viewing we once again to return to the new normal and all things streaming service.

Up first the Netlix mini series 'High Score' that looks at the history of video games, Sky Cinema offering 'Swallow' that goes to dark places and finally the last offering is Apple Plus documentary 'Boys State'.

For the first time in nearly 6months we were back at the cinema, is wonderful and scary, the same and different all at the same time.

We start with new Apple Plus comedy from the mind of Bill Lawrence 'Ted Lasso', then its footballing doc 'Kaiser!', then more documentary action with the osar winning 'American Factory' and pay our respects to Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman who passed away suddenly.

We finish by delving into our respective cinema trips and what we thought of high concept thriller 'Tenet'.

We are still at home, still relying on all things streaming, but maybe for the last week as the reopening of cinemas feels very imminent, fingers crossed for next week.

This week we are watching Netflix superhero/villain spin 'Project Power', horror movie for the iPhone generation 'Countdown' and Terry Gilliam passion project 'The Man Who Killed Do Quixote'.

But for this week we are still stuck at home with the streaming services, first up we turn to Sky Movies to watch the very topical 'The Assistant', Amazon Prime serves up a unique semi biopic with 'Honey Boy' and we finish with Netflix original comedy 'Desperados'.

Episode 160 - How To Blow A Radioactive Girl: Redux by Laird/Mckay

Episode 159 of @3beersandamovie has landed.

The cinemas north of Hadrian's Wall are still predominantly closed so that means lots more streaming viewing for us.

This week we look at HBO's (we all hope) alternate history mini-series #ThePlotAgainstAmerica. We then turn to @netflix for its latest boredom relieving mini-series 'Fear City: New York Va The Mafia'. And to complete this weeks viewing its the drama -starring the only true queen of Scotland Kelly MacDonald - 'Puzzle'.

The lockdown continues and the choices of movies is getting less and less, but this week we were able to find some big releases.

Up first Tom Hanks scripted and starring World War II naval thriller 'Greyhound', Charlize Theron kicks your ass, our ass, everyones ass in 'The Old Guard' and heavyweight acting double punch Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney in high school political thriller 'Bad Education'. We finish the week with Stephen King tv adaptation 'The Outsider'

Episode 156 - Freak Athlete's Fire Saga Void by Laird/Mckay

Another streaming heavy episode, this time our interests turn to Amazon Prime.

Up first the one location thriller '7500', then it's Irish coming of age comedy/drama 'Dating Amber' and we finish with some more coming of age wholesomeness in 'Dating Amber'.
