This week we start what is setting up to be the autumn of Stephen King with a slew of adaptations on the way, first up is a less traditional option when thinking of the 'maestro of horror' in 'The Life Of Chuck', we go on summer vacation for an unexpected sequel with Hutch and the gang in 'Nobody 2', its then a 'thrilling' night in pursuit of life changing money in 'Night Always Comes' on Netflix and we finish with body horror effort from power couple Franco & Brie 'Together'.

We are both men who prefer life at a leisurely stroll rather than a sprint, and this weekends weather is making even a stroll a sweaty experience, but we try and escape the heat with some movie chat.

Up first a threesome of dreams with Pascal-Johnson-Evans uniting in the newest movie from Celine Song 'The Materialists', we then continue to get hot and sweaty with some methhead alligators in 'Gator Creek' available on Sky Cinema, we remain in the warm climate with some action thrills with 'Weekend In Taipei', then some heist action on Prime Video 'The Pickup' and we finish with belting horror/thriller 'Weapons'

A lovely week where we have both seen the same films, and in what is becoming quite irritating we agree on pretty much everything

Up first is romcom/thriller for the online dating generation 'F**k, Marry, Kill' available on Prime Video, also on that platform is the star studded political/action thriller 'Tin Soldier'. We are always lovers of a good Western so we turn to Sky Cinema for 'The Thicket' starring Peter Dinklage, Juliette Lewis and remarkably Metallica's own James Hetfield. We finish with one that we had nothing but fear for, the return of Police Squad in The Naked Gun, with Liam Neeson showing off his comedy chops.

We are back, hunkering down before the storms ravage the west coast, but before we all get blown away, we get at least one more podcast in. We talk about all things aussie horror with 'Bring Her Back', we take a road trip in 'Sacramento', we see if new life can be breathed into a classic with a reinterpretation of 'War Of The Worlds' and we finish with the return of Marvels first family, but this time in the MCU with 'Fantastic Four: First Steps'

After an unintended break due to someone not recording the pod last week we are back with a slew of movies

We start with the return of truth, justice and the American way with the return of 'Superman' this time its James Gunn at the helm, then its onto new video game adaptation 'Until Dawn', some sweet rom com vibes with 'A Nice Indian Boy' and some Kiwi medical drama in 'A Mistake' and we finish with the return of iconic character Happy Gilmore in the much waited sequel.

Scotland is baking, the Three Beers lads are being reduced to there barest elements....but we still watch movies because what else is there to do

Before we get to movies we do chat about the series in the geeky zeitgeist at the moment 'Andor' season 2. Then we get to the movies starting with Prime Video buddy action comedy 'Heads Of State', then its onto Sky Cinema true life drama 'The Luckiest Man In America', then its back to Prime Video for podcast favourite Michael Keaton in 'Goodrich' and we finish with cinema release from the master of body horror in what feels like a deeply personal movie 'The Shrouds'.

We are back again talking movies

One of us watched Scottish low budget 'Nessie', and then we got down to movies together with an interesting little covid made flick that is now on Sky Cinema 'Ride The Eagle', high octane sports action in 'F1: The Movie', newest animated to live action offering 'How To Train Your Dragon' and we finish with Danny Boyle and Alex Garland taking us back to a dystopian Britain in '28 Years Later'
