The calendar has turned to the future (2025) and we are back for another year of doing this, the cinematic year of 2024 is in the past but we are still catching up on a few its releases. We finally see the cinema juggernaut that is the all singing/dancing 'Wicked' and the end to the trilogy we all demanded 'Sonic The Hedgehog 3', and there is chat about New Zealand historical drama 'The Convert'

We then finally dive into 2025 with poignant roadtrip (of sorts) drama 'A Real Pain', rom-com with the internets fav Pugh & Garfield in 'We Live In Time' and we end with the reimagining of a cinematic classic, this time from the mind of pod favourite Robert Eggers 'Nosferatu'

This is one of favourite things to do each every year, and thats to review the year that was, we even wrangle our Manx correspondent in to all the judgement.

We talk about all the movies of 2024, and agree on the winner. This is our most positive pod of the year as always, we dont linger on the bad, we do despair at the state of the franchise heavy box office, but mostly we focus on the things we loved, the films we want to recommend to everyone, the ones that brought us unending joy.
