It’s the question at the heart of the critical and commercial failure of two of the fall’s biggest movies: Francis Ford Coppola’s MEGALOPOLIS and Todd Phillips’ JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX. The Brothers examine both these films with roundtable discussions. In particular, they discuss the themes, visual approach, performances, and tonal oddness of MEGALOPOLIS and the provocative framing, social commentary, and audience contempt of JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX.
